As we step into this new year, many of us naturally turn to familiar aspirations: renewed optimism, refreshed purpose, deeper self-understanding, and even maybe the fostering of courage. My ask of you this year is to embrace something more fundamental: faith.
Now this is not a call to religious conversion, or perhaps a nudge to join a cult (please, don't). What I am encouraging remains comically simple to those who seek it. In my view, faith, in its essence, can be found on the other end of a profound sense of connection to something greater than ourselves—whether divine or cosmic. It's about developing the quiet understanding and confidence of being part of a larger narrative, that somewhere, somehow, there exists a force that gives meaning to this journey of confusion.
I ask this of you because faith serves as the foundation for true wisdom. In times like these, when global events challenge our understanding and shake our certainties, faith becomes not just a comfort but a necessity—giving us the courage to question, the patience to listen, and the humility to learn. Wisdom requires us to trust in the process of growth and transformation, and only through this trust can we truly find comfort in faith.
From our family to yours, we wish you a very happy 2025. May your journey this year be guided by faith, the kind of faith that illuminates the path toward deeper wisdom and understanding.
