Hobbyist photographer, city-native Gabriel wishes you well with postcards shots that exude the spirited celebration of life in the Kenyan city. He lets you peek into his thoughts as his finger pressed on the shutter.
See you next time in Nairobi?

I’ve always appreciated beautiful architecture and good craftsmanship. This Indian Temple along Parklands, Nairobi is a blend of both. Naturally from the highway it is juxtaposed with a big, modern glass building and the contrast in both architectures is there for everyone to notice. I love the reflections and refractions caused by the car window.

Walking with Allan (left) on a rainy afternoon, a stranger appeared and politely asked to share the umbrella. The moment felt small, yet it spoke volumes about kindness and warmth in everyday encounters.

A man drags a heavy sack of potatoes on a Sunday morning. To me this picture speaks of me; it speaks of the relentless hard work and determination Kenyans embody in pursuit of providing for their families.

The wind passing through her hair. That’s what caught my eye as we approached the bodaboda (motorcycle). The fiery glow from the sun against her hair, set against the calm blue, makes me relive that day’s warmth and light

I stumbled upon this mirror in my sister’s room one Friday and just had to take some pictures. Sometimes inspiration and ideas come from the most random places and moments.

7:45am. Heavy rain and strong winds. An elderly lady pauses by the highway, torn between braving the storm or being late for work. The moment is heavy with hesitation and resilience.

Aura. The glasses, the stark yellow, the arm sticking out of the window. The picture speaks for itself.

Three brothers going to church (I presume). A superbike flashes across and they stop to admire it. “It’s those unplanned shots chico”

This is Kenya’s Parliament House. This was a lucky shot from a moving car and that’s what I love the most about it. I saw the clock tower and I got the shot. I had zero expectations. To my surprise, it turned out to be much better than I expected.
